THE SCRIPTURES:

We believe the Bible to be the revealed Word of God, fully and verbally inspired of God.  We believe the Scriptures to be the inerrant, infallible Word of God, as found within the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation.  We believe God not only inspired every word, but has preserved them through the ages.

We believe the King James Version is the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people.  (Psalm 12:6-7; II Timothy 3:15-17; I Peter 1:23-25; II Peter 1:19-21)

THE GODHEAD:

We believe in one God, who is eternal, self-existent, infinite, and immutable.  We believe He has one nature, one essence, and one substance, yet manifests Himself to man in three persons:  the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

(Deuteronomy 6:4; I Timothy 1:17; John 1:1-5, Titus 2:10, Roman 8:7).

THE PERSON AND WORK OF THE SON:

We believe Jesus Christ to be the one and only Savior of mankind.  We believe Jesus Christ to be eternally God and to possess all the attributes of Deity. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was virgin born, that He was God incarnated, and that the purposes of the incarnation were to reveal God, to redeem men, and to rule over God’s kingdom.  We believe Jesus Christ never relinquished any attributes of His Deity, but merely veiled them.  We believe He lived a perfect, sinless life, at the end of which He was offered for all mankind as a substitutionary sacrifice for man’s sin.  This sacrifice was a just payment to God for the forgiveness of sin.  It was activated by His death through the shedding of His blood on the cross and was accepted by God upon His resurrection.  We believe He ascended into Heaven after His resurrection to be seated at the right hand of the Father, waiting for the time of receiving His church at the rapture, and returning seven years later to earth to rule and reign as King for literally a 1,000 year.                                                                                (Palm 2:7-9; Isaiah 7:;14, 9:6;  Micah 5:2; Matthew 1:25; Luke 1:26-35; John1:1, :3, 14, 18, 29  Romans 3:19; Romans 5:6-17; Philippians 2:5-13; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Timothy 2:5; I Timothy 3:16; Titus 2:10-15; Hebrews 9:24-28;  I Peter 1:19,  2:2;  I John 1:3)

THE PERSON AND WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Person who reproves the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; and that He is the Supernatural agent in regeneration, indwelling all believers and sealing them unto the day of redemption (John 16:8-11; II Corinthians 3:6; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13-14. We believe that the sign gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongues and the gift of healing, were temporary. We believe that speaking in tongues was never the common of necessary sign of the baptism or filling of the Holy Spirit and that ultimate deliverance of the body from sickness or death awaits the consummation of our salvation in the resurrection, though God frequently chooses to answer the prayer of believers for physical healing.

(II Corinthians 12:12; I Corinthians 13:8-10; Hebrews 2:3-4; Mark 16:17-18; I Corinthians14:21-22)

SIN AND SALVATION:

We believe all men were born with an inherited sin nature received from our common ancestor, Adam. We believe that because of his nature, man is a sinner by choice, and he is totally incapable of reforming himself or ceasing from his sin by his own power. We believe the only hope of deliverance for man is a total change of mind concerning his sinful condition and inability to change it, and a turning to Jesus Christ as the only Savior. We believe that only through the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ on the cross can a man be delivered from his sin. We believe that all those who reject Jesus Christ as their Savior are already condemned to an eternity in the lake of fire.

(Genesis 5:1-5; Acts 4:19; Acts 16:31;  Romans 3:10-23; Romans 5:6-12;  Romans 6:23;  Romans 10:9-10;  Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:3-6; Revelation 20:11, John 3:17,        Revelation 3:20)

THE CHURCH:

We believe the Church is a local, visibly, assembly of saved and baptized believers who worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:24) and carry out the great commission                     (Matt 28:18-20; Mk 16:15).

The church is not universal and invisible (Rev 22:16). There are two offices in the church: the Pastor (Acts 20:28) and Deacon (Phil 1:1). We believe the church began with Jesus and the calling out of the twelve apostles by Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18).

We believe the local church is God’s only institution to carry out His work today.  We believe the local church is composed of members who have been saved and baptized according to the command of Christ, and have voluntarily united together for the purpose of worship, fellowship, service, and the Lord’s Table.  We believe all true believers will be taken up at the rapture, just prior to the seven years of tribulation.

(Acts 1:15; Acts 2:41; I Cor.15:51-58; Ephesians 5:25-30; I Thessalonians 4:13-16; I Timothy 3:2-15).

THE ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH:

We recognize the ordinances of baptism by immersion in water and the Lord’s Supper what have to been taken with grapefruits (unfermented vine) and unleavened bred, this is a Scriptural means of testimony for local churches in this age.

(Matthew 28:19-20;  Acts 2:41-42, 18:18;  I Corinthians 11:23-34).

BIBLICAL SEPARATION:

We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Lord and Savior; and, that separation from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations is commanded of God.

(II Timothy 3:1-5; Romans 12:1-2; I John 2:15-17; II John 9:9-10; II Corinthians 6:14-17, 7:1).

 THE RETURN OF CHRIST:

We believe the “Blessed Hope” of our Lord’s return is literal, personal, visible, imminent, pre- millennial, and pre-tribulation, and at the end of the tribulation Christ will return with His saints to establish His latterly thousand year reign on the earth.

(I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; I Thessalonians 1:10; Revelation 3:10; Zechariah 14:1-21; Revelation 19:11-16, 20:1-6; Psalm 89:3-4).

 OUR ETERNAL STATE:

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment.  (Matthew 25:46; John 5:28, 29, 11:25-26; Revelation 20:5-6, 12-13). We believe that the souls of the redeemed are, at death, absent from the body and present with the Lord, where in conscious bliss they await the first resurrection, when spirit, soul, and body are reunited to be glorified forever with the Lord                                                                                                                                                 (Luke 23:43; Revelation 20:4-6; II Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 1:23, 3:21, I Thessalonians 4:16-17).

We believe that the souls of unbelievers remain, after death, in conscious misery until the second resurrection, when with soul and body reunited they shall appear at the Great White Throne Judgment, and shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, not to be annihilated, but to suffer everlasting, conscious punishment                                                                                     (Luke 16:19-26; Matthew 25:41-46; II Thessalonians 1:7-9; Jude 6-7; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 20:11-15)
